Technical Touch [ An IT recruitment company in the United Kingdom ], had created a one page website based on a premium html theme. However, this website did not fully encompass the company’s offers and also lacked functionalities like a simple contact form. The company did not have the skill to develop it into a user experience optimised and functional site that helped meet their business goals.
Using my understanding of user experience, I created wireframes – low fidelity representation of a new design that properly represented the company’s vision and offer with Balsamiq. After which I redesigned the website, creating pages and modifying the theme where necessary with HTML, CSS, Jquery and a bit of php. I ensured the site was functional by creating forms that enable clients and candidates send emails or CV to the company, I also integrated with twitter, linkedin, google maps and a recruiting API.
As a result, the website looks better, provides clients and candidates with adequate information as well as call to actions and allows them reach out to the organisation as needed. This website redesign has helped Technical Touch better meet business goals and satisfy clients. The wireframes and some of the pages are represented below.
